(March 31) -- The head of the FBI's Detroit office said Tuesday that other militias have distanced themselves from the nine members of the Midwest group who were indicted this week for plotting to kill law enforcement officers.

"I honestly think they don't believe the same things this group does," Andrew Arena told AOL News. "I think they were appalled."

In fact, there were media reports that an outside militia member went to the FBI after the Michigan-based Christian militia group Hutaree came to him for help. "It's true, he did," Arena said.

Arena said he didn't believe Hutaree is a very big organization. He said different people have trained and met with the group, and some have come and gone. "We don't have evidence they also crossed the line," Arena said.

This week, a massive federal raid in our area netted what we are told was a Christian terrorist organization planning to murder dozens of police in our region. Almost immediately, the other militia and pro-gun organizations distanced themselves. Who are the “Hutaree’s” and how are they different from the other militias? Well, the group are all republicans, 100%. No surprise there, in fact, the Michigan Militias have always been activist GOP, back into the 1990s. There is a much older history, though, one not taught in our schools.

The militias in Michigan and Ohio all have their roots in the KKK from back in the resurgent years of the 1920s. However, their primary activities were financial, they were “strike breakers” and “scabs,” turncoat shills for factory owners who looked for criminals and thugs to keep from paying fair wages. The Black Legion was not only the most violent arm of the KKK but also worked like their Nazi Germany counterparts, the SA and SS, to suppress organized labor. Members of a militia charged with plotting to kill police were not Christian or a militia, a man acquainted with the group said Tuesday.

"This is a group that I would classify as neither a militia or a Christian group," said Michael Lackomar, a member of the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia. "They're really a fringe group outside of anything we do.

"They're more of a private army or a terrorist organization or really just a criminal organization."

You could say the same about all armed Tea Party Hatriots.

Federal agents arrested at least seven members of a self-proclaimed Christian militia group in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio over the weekend, according to the FBI and a leader of another militia organization. ... The target of the raid was a group called the Hutaree.

Mike Lackomar, a county leader for the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia, said Hutaree members trained with his organization "on a couple of occasions in years past" but stopped about a year ago.

[The Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia is a member of the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS and therefore the ARRESTED HUTAREE have trained with Tea Party Hatriots within the past year.]
