Actually there are no new details but I liked the headline portrayal "Violent underbelly ... revealed"
In previous days posting I linked the Tea Party Patriots (dot) org website page devoted to the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia which admitted to knowing and jointly training with the Hutaree several times since Obama was a candidate, including within the past year.

There is a lot of hate brewing in the Tea Party Movement, the militia movement and other outposts of right-wing America, and it`s being stoked by Sarah Palin who uses violent imagery in her speeches, and other Republican leaders who demonize President Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress.
Tea Party members have already committed acts of vandalism and issued death threats against Democratic politicians, how long will it be before they also start gunning down law enforcement officials? ...

Despite the obvious fact that the advertisement was for a completely lawful event organized by a group that has nothing to do with the Hutaree at all, CNN used the image to openly imply that the alleged cop-killing Hutaree members were part of the same organization, demonizing the second amendment and the Tea Party movement all in one fell swoop.
Despite the obvious fact that the Tea Party Militia and the Hutaree trained together several times since Obama was a candidate and within the past year.
The Detroit Free Press has been milking what amounts to a local story for them, with four articles since the story broke...
